REGISTRATION
All campers need to complete a GSHCDC application via CampDoc.
Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis via the CampDoc web site. No phone or mail-in registrations
will be accepted.
For campers and Program Aides in Training (PATs), once initial spots are filled, those who register will be placed on a waitlist in the order in which their registrations are received. If a spot
opens up, it will be offered to the next person on the list.
CATEGORIES
Camper: Girl Scouts in grades 1-6 as of September 2026
Program Aide in Training (PAT): Girl Scouts in 7th grade (or higher) as of September 2026. (See: PAT Information)
Program Aide (PA): Girl Scouts in grades 8-12 as of September 2026. To be a PA, an applicant MUST have completed PA Training either at GSHCDC or at another GSCM camp. (See: PA Information)
NOTES
- To attend GSHCDC, campers, PATs, and PAs must be registered Girl Scouts—with Girl Scouts of Central Maryland or another Girl Scout council. If a girl is not currently a Girl Scout, but wants to join, she can register for GSHCDC but must also register as a Girl Scout (as an individual, or as part of a troop) by no later than the due date for their CampDoc forms.
- The Maryland Health Department requires that all Health History Forms have the date of the camp attendee's last tetanus shot. Applications will NOT be accepted without tetanus shot information.
- If GSHCDC get more adult volunteers after camper registration opens, we may be able to accept more campers. In that case, some campers on the waitlist will get a spot. Confirmation emails will be sent for going on (and coming off) the waitlist.
-
GSHCDC adult volunteers get guaranteed placement of their children at camp. But you still need to register your camper(s). If your child is initially waitlisted, don't worry! We will update the registration on our end to move your camper(s) off the waitlist and into camp.
