Welcome! Come enjoy traditional camp activities with our own Girl Scout spin to them. With exploration, adventure, and laughter galore, your daughter is sure to have a blast with us!

Camp Ilchester was sold to Howard County in Fall 2022, and the county began a renovation project that will extend into 2024.

But we heard it loud and clear from our campers, families, and volunteers alike -- GSHCDC is special. We love camp!

So for 2023, we searched for a new place to call home. And we found it, thanks to the kindness of Temple Isaiah in Fulton.

In their beautiful outdoor space, we will return again this Summer for one week of camp with this year's theme:

A Renaissance Faire Experience

Hear ye, hear ye! Join us at RennCamp for a Renaissance Faire experience! We’ll have all our traditional camp activities—including archery, games, dance, songs, nature, and leather-stamping—along with themed crafts and activities exploring discoveries of the time at STEM and Theme. Camp traditions will return as well, including unit Cooking Days, all-camp activities, and finding Heidi around camp.

Below is a list, sorted by Girl Scout level, of the badge requirements that were fulfilled at GSHCDC in 2023. Many thanks to Doodle and Hawkeye for pulling this information together!

Please note: At the bottom of the list are two patches that were created by individual Girl Scout councils -- the "Raise Your Hand" patch by Girl Scouts Nation's Capital (GSCNC) and the "Oh What a Flag!" patch by Girl Scouts of Central Maryland (GSCM). Both are available to all Girl Scouts, but requirements may vary by level.
