Welcome to

Girl Scout Howard County Day Camp

at Camp Ilchester

GSHCDC is located in Ellicott City, across from Ilchester Elementary and in the same location as the GSCM Clementine's Corner store. We are a completely volunteer-run day camp.

Come enjoy traditional camp activities with our own Ilchester Girl Scout spin to it! With exploration, adventure, and laughter galore, your daughter is sure to have a blast with us!

GSHCDC SUMMER 2022

Thank you to everyone who joined us for camp this year! It was a magical week as we returned to in-person camp and "journeyed to the enchanted forest" with songs, dance, games, crafts, archery, STEM, leatherworking, snowcones, and much more!

And we resumed a variety of camp traditions, including unit Cooking Days, our all-camp activities and service project, the 6th Grade special event, the Parade of Colors, PAT graduation, PA bridging, and finding Heidi and Hodi around camp.

While we do not know what the future holds (yet), we hope that GSHCDC can return next year and for many years to come! We heard it loud and clear from campers, families, and volunteers alike -- GSHCDC is special. We love camp!

SPIRIT WEAR

Wear your love of GSHCDC and Camp Ilchester on your sleeve! Or on your pants, your face, or all three!

Our 2022 Spirit Wear is available for sale for one week only, through noon on July 14, 2022. Items will be printed by Nightmare Team Sports (NTS) and direct-shipped to your home.

SHARING CAMP MEMORIES, CONTINUED!

Didn't get a chance to fill out the paper survey from GSCM Archives, asking about your favorite GSHCDC memory or memories? Or were you unable to join us at camp this year, and want to share a memory from a prior year?

Don't worry! We are working on a Google Form version of the survey and will post it soon!
