Cooking Day
All campers will participate in a Cooking Day during their camp week. Campers will work together to prepare and cook a lunch meal for their group and a few guests from program/admin areas of camp.
WHAT TO BRING ON COOKING DAY
- Mess kit, or a set of paper goods (plate, bowl, utensils, and cup), to eat on
- A snack, to eat on this busy day
- Water bottle (every day)
- A hair tie for long hair
WHAT *NOT* TO BRING ON COOKING DAY
- A packed lunch
FOOD ALLERGIES
ALL food allergies and restrictions for food MUST BE properly noted in CampDocs before a camp begins. This applies to everyone at camp. Campers (including PATs), PAs, and adult volunteers should also tell their unit leader, who can alert the Quartermaster (QM) Team of any changes or new information.
Our Quartermasters keep track of food labels/ingredient lists, and make food substitutions when needed.
If you have a concern about the foods camp is providing, please contact the QM Team by e-mail, or by phone during camp hours.
