Ticks are a known consequence of tromping around camp all week. Please remind your campers and PAs to perform tick checks in the evening - and make sure to do them yourself! For more info on ticks, please review:

While we take caution to avoid having Poison Ivy in the well-trafficked areas of camp, there is still the potential of coming into contact with the plants. For more info on poison ivy, please review: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/poison-ivy/symptoms-causes/syc-20376485

We want to ensure the safety and well-being of all of our campers. While the links above can help protect them physically, we also want to be aware of any signs of abuse or neglect. We ask that you keep a look out for any potential signs and report them to HQ to address. For help understanding the potential signs, please review: http://dhs.maryland.gov/child-protective-services/reporting-suspected-child-abuse-or-neglect/signs-neglect-abuse/
